Solid velvet fabric is a new type of knitted warp knitted velvet fabric. It is practiced in foreign trade and domestic factories with lower prices and higher quality and has achieved good sales results. For clothes making, or bedding, etc., it is more comfortable.
Introduction:
What is velvet?
The velvet fabric uses cocoon grade A raw silk, and also uses silk as the warp, cotton yarn as the weft, and uses silk or rayon to raise the loop. Both warp and weft are first degummed or semi-degummed, dyed, twisted, and then woven. According to different uses, different raw materials can be used for weaving.
In addition to the silk and rayon mentioned above, it can also be woven from different raw materials such as cotton, eye, viscose, polyester, and nylon. So the velvet fabric is not woven with velvet, but its hand and texture are as smooth and shiny as velvet.
Types of velvet fabrics
Steamed yarn velvet: There are varieties of steamed yarn treated with polyester terry yarn.
Dense velvet: the terry is FDY polyester, and the ground silk is DTY polyester. The grey cloth is cut in the open width, and it is dyed after pre-forming. Some of them are combed once more after dyeing. There are also fine velvet varieties with spandex.
Binghua velvet: The sister of diamond velvet, mainly because the dyeing process is slightly different.
No downfall: varieties with spandex. The fluff is upright on the ground cloth, and the suede is quickly recovered by hand pressing the suede.
Diamond fleece: the terry is made of FDY glossy polyester filament, ground filament DTY polyester filament, which is the easiest to make in almost all sheared fabrics. The grey fabric is directly dyed after slitting and shearing. The slight horizontal and vertical strips during weaving are covered up after the finished product, and a small amount of unclear shearing and leaving loops to increase the gloss of the entire surface. Anyway, the suede is messy.
Burnt-out velvet: terry is rayon (or cotton yarn), ground yarn is polyester, rayon is used for the burnt-out patterns, and the variety of ground yarn and spandex is slightly more difficult.
Golden velvet: a relatively thick shearing variety with spandex, the suede is messy and shiny, similar to warp-knitted rich velvet.
